It's Junior Super Saturday at Chiltern Grove!

A full afternoon of excellent tennis was enjoyed by more than 40 juniors at the 2007 Junior Tournament in three groups - 11 and under; 12-15 Girls and 12-15 Boys.
Some absorbing match play in 90 or more games saw the three groups reach thrilling conclusions with some high quality tennis and three excellent finals played in a fine spirit.
The Roll of Honour
11 and Under
The biggest tournament of the day saw two groups battle through a big draw to conclude with a well fought final between Daniel and Matthew. Supported by parents and friends, all players showed a fantastic attitude in helping to get all the games played. Well done to all!
12-15 Girls
Two groups of determined girls produced some breathtaking tennis in the closest matches of the day. Special thanks to all for their perseverance with the complicated schedule and their excellent sporting behaviour. An excellent final between Niamh and Fiona was a fitting end to the tournament so well done to the finalists and all who took part.
12-15 Boys
Unsurprisingly, the big guns were wheeled out with hard-hitting competitive tennis as the lads did themselves proud with an excellent set of matches. Joel was on top form all day and enjoyed a hard-fought final with Oliver who played some excellent tennis through the day and deserved his final appearance. Well done to Joel and Oliver and to all who took part!
